What I love about this vid is ... everything! It's message to me is basically "women are not to be trifled with and here are some amazing examples why"

Summary: A multifandom vid featuring all sorts of kickass women!

Reccer's Notes:
This vid pumps you up and feels empowering! It features so many women on the battlefield being epic badasses. The song choice is spot on and it's a good vid to rewatch when you need a little anti-misogyny violence in your day.

Summary: My momma told me I should never watch Sci-fi but I did, I did, I did.

Reccer's Notes: This vid is a classic: a joyous tribute to women in sci fi, inviting us on a journey through female characters in sci fi history, with seamless editing to a pitch-perfect song. I love the overall celebratory feel of watching this, but at the same time it doesn’t shy away from acknowledging the ways that sci fi as a genre has treated its female characters. I was surprised to realize that it was first posted back in 2011 (what even is time!); I remember this one so vividly, and have returned to it multiple times!

Note: The download link for the vid wasn’t working for me, and I was only able to stream it on YouTube once I logged in with a Google/YouTube account (not sure if that will be the same for others).
